Supporting Youth in Agribusiness

EAFF remains committed to empowering youth engagement in agriculture and agribusiness.

Achievements include:

  • 817 youth agribusiness enterprises submitted proposals;
  • 11,408 young people trained in entrepreneurship and business management;
  • 258 youth enterprises established, generating 3,908 jobs;
  • 247 youth enterprises successfully pitched to investors;
  • USD 1,733,523 in loans advanced to youth enterprises, including:
    • Kenya: USD 972,182
    • Rwanda: USD 700,537
    • Uganda: USD 60,804

Through the African Youth Agripreneurs (AYA) Platform, EAFF supports over 4,400 young women and men farmers, facilitating collaboration, innovation, mentorship, and access to opportunities.
