Governance structure and membership

a) The EAFF Farmers Congress

• Highest organ of the organisation, comprised of executive committee members of all national-level organisations.
• Meets every four years.
• Develops resolutions and directs areas of focus for members.
• Elects members of the EAFF Regional Governing Council.
• Appoints the auditor.

b) The EAFF Regional Governing Council

• Comprised of the chairpersons of each member organisation.
• Meets annually.
• Receives and approves the audited accounts.
• Elects officials of the Board.
• Approves new membership.

c) The EAFF Regional Board

• Comprised of 10 members, one from each country.
• The main decision-making and policy-formulation organ.
• Oversees management of the Federation.

d) Secretariat

• Comprised of professionals in agriculture, policy, trade, gender, finance, institutional development, etc.
• Headed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
• Implements the programs of the Federation.
