What We Do

The Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF) is a regional farmers’ organization representing the collective interests of farmers across Eastern Africa

At EAFF, what we do is shaped by a simple conviction, smallholder farmers are not just beneficiaries of development, they are its drivers. For over two decades, we have worked to turn that conviction into action across Eastern Africa, building the institutions, partnerships and platforms that allow farmers to speak with one voice and act with collective strength.
Capacity Building

We enhance the capabilities of our member platforms through training, partnerships, and establishing linkages with private sector entities. This includes access to essential services such as financing, insurance, and agricultural inputs and outputs.

Representation and Advocacy:

EAFF represents farmers at regional, continental, and intercontinental levels. We participate in meetings and consultations to address issues of significance to the farming community, ensuring their voices are heard in key decision-making processes.

We advocate for farmers’ active participation in policy formulation and the implementation of rural development protocols. Through sustainable agricultural practices and inclusive development, we aim to eradicate poverty and promote food security.
