Mr. Harun Njago, MPRSK

Mr. Njago is a Communications and Public Relations professional with over 10 years of experience in strategic communication, media relations, stakeholder engagement and digital communications. Having worked in both the public and private sectors, he has successfully led communication initiatives that enhance organizational visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement and support development outcomes. Currently, he serves as the Communications and Knowledge Management Lead at the Eastern Africa Farmers Federation (EAFF), where he leads regional communication and knowledge-sharing efforts that amplify farmers’ voices and promote agricultural transformation across Eastern Africa.

Before joining EAFF, Harun served as Corporate Communications Officer at the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) in Kenya, where he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives, developed institutional communication policies and led high-impact campaigns focused on agricultural finance, women’s economic empowerment and rural development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Public Relations from Moi University and is currently pursuing two Master’s degrees, Masters in Development Communication and Masters in Corporate Communications. Harun is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (MPRSK) and is passionate about leveraging strategic communication to advance sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, food security and farmer-led development across Africa.
