Mr. Ezra Luggya

Mr. Luggya is an accomplished agricultural economist, agribusiness leader, and farmer with over three decades of experience in agricultural development, farm management, and business leadership. He currently serves as Director of Bulansuku Estates, Director of Smartfarming UG Ltd., Director of Coffee Safaris, and Non-Executive Director of 1000 Cups Coffee Shop. He is also a long-serving Board Member of the Uganda Coffee Farmers Alliance (NUCAFE), where he has contributed to advancing the interests of coffee farmers and strengthening the coffee value chain.

Mr. Luggya holds a Bachelor of Science in Development Studies (Economics) from the University of Wales, UK, and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of London (Wye College), UK. His expertise spans agricultural economics, market analysis, financial management, strategic planning, sustainable farming, and organizational leadership. He is recognized for his commitment to promoting agricultural innovation, enhancing farm productivity, and supporting farmer-led development initiatives across East Africa.
