The Eastern Africa Farmers’ Federation is an implementing partner of the COMESA Regional Agro-inputs Program (COMRAP). EAFF has been contracted by the Alliance for Commodity Trade in Eastern and Sothern Africa (ACTESA) to implement the activities that pertain to farmers and farmer organizations. This document presents the work-plan and budget for EAFF’s activities in 2010. EAFF is leading the implementation of the activities pertaining to farmer organizations in four countries – Burundi, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda. EAFF is working through her member organizations in these countries. A total of seven national farmer organizations in the four countries organizations are implementing this project. COMRAP is implemented through three components – Agro-dealer and agent training; Finance for small-holder farmers; Seed sector policy and development.
